Burnt Out Cop was an original idea delevoped by myself, John and Steve Rowlands, Rob Ellis and Dan Malone. It was our first exploration into 3DSMax and PS2. We spent a good few months developing the demo annd creating an extensive Game Design Document. After winning a contract to produce the game for PS2, we quickly fell foul to a bad business venture and subsequently lost the IP after a prolonged and bitter legal wrangle. Although this is perhaps the saddest moment of my career, it is also one of my most proudest and I’m happy to see ideas we developed back then still being used in bestsellers today.
